Forum Positive Hack Days 2012 Is Over!

Two days, 1500 guests, dozens of reports and hands-on labs, large-scale CTF contest, lots of competitions, – all that was the PHDays 2012 hackers conference held in the Digital October technocentre. Information security experts, hackers from all over the world and Internet users met to discuss and try to solve the key IS issues.

Guest reporters played an important part in the conference. Bruce Schneier was the star of the first day: there were so many forum visitors willing to listen to his speech, that some of them even had to sit on the floor, since all the seats had been taken. And those who didn’t manage to cram up in the main hall, could enjoy the speech broadcasted on a big display in the lobby.

The keynote speaker of Day Two was Datuk Mohd Noor Amin from IMPACT. Besides the reports, forum guests could participate in lots of competitions. These continued all through the two days of the conference, and the winners were awarded at the end of Day Two. The forum ended up with the Undervud band performance.

At the end of the day, we can definitely say it’s a pity it ended so quickly. We had been preparing for this event for almost a year and were happy to meet experts and make new friends.

Thank you! See you next year at Positive Hack Days!
