CTF Afterparty extended until January 20, 2012!

Because few participants were able to solve all of the tasks in the PHDays CTF competitions, this year we have organized a special contest which is open to anyone interested - PHDays Afterparty. As the name suggests, the tasks of the competition have been based on the game infrastructure of CTF 2011.

Under the cat is all about the winners and prizes, as well as the most valuable information - the new finishing time of the completion PHDays Afterparty!

The first results are already available

The competition lasted from 12 to 26 December. Participation in the CTF Afterparty included 80 hackers from 20 countries. Among them - Russia, USA, France, Belgium, Australia, Germany, Tunisia, and even what are for us  such exotic  state as Barbados and Papua -New Guinea. Full list here.

The winner of the contest was kaprizel from Kazakhstan. He alone solved virtually all the tasks in PHDays CTF 2011 and scored 99 (!!) points. We congratulate him and award kaprizel the prize of a security scanner XSpider 7.8!

Of course, we congratulate the winners of the contest and others - those who scored more than 40 points receive a certificate or gift from Positive Technologies! And we will invite selected participants to the forum PHDays May 30 and 31. Who will be among them is still a secret, stay tuned for more news!

Finally, about the timings

We are still receiving numerous requests from those who want to participate in PHDays Afterparty. So we have decided to give people the opportunity to celebrate New Year in the company of like-minded people and extended the competition. The new end date is January 20, 2012!

Attention! Those who join the event from December 27 will not play in the competition, but just for fun. Participants will not be able to claim prizes, but will earn points and get into the overall rating. The tasks and infrastructure of the game will remain the same!

Full ratings of the participants with the number points earned can be found here.
